PO Settings

PO Settings

The PO Settings page (Purchase Orders) will contain all of the settings that will allow your VO system to email PO’s.  Take notice that there are three tabbed sections to this section located at the top of the window. There is a Settings tab,  Email Message tab, and ETA Message tab. Most of the work will need to be completed on the Settings tab. The Email and ETA message tabs are initially setup with your system to contain the most important information but their respective tabs will allow you to edit the message and subject line for each email. The Email Message tab contains the message that is sent to your vendors The ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) tab contains the message that is sent to your vendor when you request an ETA from them.

Begin the process by filling out the details on the Settings tab and sending a test email. To do this enter in the email information that you will be using for this functionality into the input boxes under the first section label Email Credentials. Once filled out click the green “Save Settings” button in the top right of the window. Then click the black button labeled “Test Credentials” to test the settings. The system will automatically display a success or failure notice at the top of the window. See example image below.

If you receive an “Email successfully sent” notice after clicking the Test Credentials button go and check your email account to see if you have received the message from the VO system. Be sure to also check your Spam/Junk folders if the message is not received.
