Manufacturers

Manufacturers

Not to be confused with Vendors, Manufacturers are the creators for all components (ingredients/materials) in your system. Manufacturers supply Vendors and then the Vendors will distribute the components. This section is used to create and list the Manufacturers that are used within your Virtual Office system. These listings are associated with your components and will be used for receiving batches or editing a batch. This can also be used to restrain quotes and orders to use specific manufacturers when attaching inventory. For more information about managing restrictions for components on an order click here.

Upon entering the Manufacturers section you are faced with a grid. The grid displayed will list all Manufacturers currently available in the system. These entries can be sorted by clicking the column titles, using the search function or filtering by additional options. For more information on Grid Sorting click here.

 

Virtual Office System Location/Navigation:
Administration > Configuration > Manufacturers

Grid Action Buttons:
Add Manufacturer – Select this action to add a new manufacturer to your Virtual Office system.

Edit Manufacturer – Select a manufacturer row on the grid and then select the View/Edit button.

Toggle Status – Select a manufacturer row from the grid by clicking it, then click this action to change the status.

Column visibility – By selecting this option you can change the visible columns per the grid you are on. These selections are saved per user/browser per grid.

Excel – Selecting this action will export the currently displayed grid data to excel.
