Dietary supplement manufacturing ERP

Plant ERP for formula contract manufacturers.

Virtual Ops runs the dietary-supplement floor: lots, quarantine and lab testing, master manufacturing records by job type, quoting, purchasing, and fulfillment. Cloud. One system.

Capsules · Tablets · Powders · Stick packs · Gummies · Liquids

What the floor actually runs

Area In Virtual Ops
Lots Trace a lot through locations, quarantine, production use, and outbound. Lock lots. Split and transfer batches.
Quarantine + lab Ingredients and finished goods. Lab testing on the quarantine list, then release into inventory.
MMRs Capsules, tablets, powders, liquids, gummies — production records stay on the batch, not in a shared drive.
Quoting Component-level quotes. LOD, bulk density, intentional overages.
Purchasing Vendors, POs, customer-supplied ingredients, material forecasting.
Fulfillment Scanner-assisted warehouse work tied to the same lots.
Control Permissions and user change history. Cloud, browser, no plant-floor install.

Built around the 21 CFR Part 111 operating model

  1. Controlled formulas / Master Manufacturing Records.
  2. Inbound lots received, then held in quarantine when testing is required.
  3. Lab testing / quality review, then release — or rejection.
  4. Production against batch records, lots consumed on the run.
  5. Finished-goods checks, with FG quarantine when needed.
  6. Lot-level inventory, barcoding, and fulfillment so you can go forward and back if something breaks.

QuickBooks Desktop and Online

Plant inventory, jobs, and lots stay in Virtual Ops. Accounting stays in QuickBooks. Desktop and Online are both supported. Custom systems go through the API — not a promise of a Shopify theme or a 200-connector marketplace.

Questions plants actually ask

Do you do lot traceability?

Yes. Lots are batches in inventory: location history, splits/transfers, lot lock, Trace Batch. Quarantine and lab testing stay on the lot through production and fulfillment.

Quarantine and lab testing — in the ERP, or a side system?

In Virtual Ops. Components and finished goods. The quarantine list is where tests get assigned, documented, and released.

Gummies, stick packs, capsules — same workflow?

No. MMRs are job-typed. Capsules, tablets, powders, liquids, and gummies are first-class, not a generic BOM forced onto every line.

We already have QuickBooks.

Keep it. VO is not trying to replace your GL. Desktop and Online both connect; mapping of a messy item list is a demo conversation.

I want answers, not a demo.

Fair. Help and this FAQ exist for that. If you later want to see a 30 minute software demo, please schedule it — we promise this is not a sales gauntlet.

30 minutes on the actual product.

No slide deck about “digital transformation.” We will walk through Lab Testing, Formulation and a general system overview on a plant that looks like yours.
